Introducing the Women in CTI Community

Let’s put the cards on the table, women are often underrepresented in the cybersecurity world, especially in the specialized field of cyber threat intelligence (CTI). Mary and Einat from Filigran, believe it’s time to change that.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new community initiative, Women in CTI.

Women in CTI is a supportive and inclusive community dedicated to empowering female professionals in the CTI space. Our mission is to create an environment where women can share their experiences, knowledge, and achievements, while also attracting more talented women to join our industry.

Elevating Women in CTI

Women in CTI is founded on the belief that together, we can achieve greatness. Through this community, we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our members to:

• Share their successes, challenges, and lessons learned
• Collaborate on projects and initiatives
• Mentor and support each other’s professional growth
• Amplify the voices of women thought leaders in CTI
• Advance the fields of cyber security and cyber threat intelligence

One of our key objectives is to provide a platform for women thought leaders in the CTI space. These industry experts (like you!) will share their insights, best practices, and knowledge through webinars, workshops, and other content-sharing opportunities.

By amplifying the voices and achievements of these talented women, we empower our members to showcase their expertise, advance their careers, and inspire the next generation. Our members can leverage these opportunities to build their personal brands and highlight their contributions on platforms like LinkedIn.

Elevating women thought leaders will inspire our community and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive CTI field. Seeing relatable role models succeed helps break down barriers and encourages more talented individuals to pursue careers in CTI.

We recognize that true impact can only be achieved through collaboration. That’s why we’re committed to engaging with global organizations and communities to broaden the reach and influence of our Women in CTI initiatives.

To kickstart our community, we’ve already established a dedicated Slack channel within the OpenCTI community, where our members can connect, share ideas, and collaborate.

We’re also planning a series of webinars and community meetups, where our members can learn from each other and build meaningful connections.
